Starting from Mon Feb 22, all air-travellers coming to Canada are mandatorily required to stay in one of 27 government-authorized hotels for 3 days at their own costs after getting a COVID-19 molecular test while they await the results of their arrival test.
However, the cost of staying at the hotel might be lower than the originally Government-announced amount which is $2,000. The government-designated hotels are in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec and the newly updated hotel list was announced in the government website. In addition to the 3-day hotel stay, they are still required to stay at isolated place, normally their home to continue the 14-day quarantine.
